XDEC Experience

I.ELPI 100 MW Photovoltaic Project

The ELPI Photovoltaic Project is located in Pasuquin and Burgos, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. lt is the first large-scale project in the energy field for the bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and the Philippines after former President Rodrigo Duterte's first visit to China, as well as one of the largest new energy projects in Southeast Asia. The Project can be divided into three parts, i.e. PV site area, step-up substation and opposite bay, and transmission lines.

The Project encompasses a substantial scale of 100 MW (DC side), featuring an impressive installation of 8176 groups of 340W PV panels. Additionally, it involves the construction of a new 115 kV substation, with two 50 MVA main transformers installed in the substation. The electric transmission line spans an extensive distance of 30.4 km, supported by the meticulously planned infrastructure consisting of 94 bases of transmission towers, 41 bases of suspension towers and 52 bases of tensioning towers. The right of way of the Project is complicated. XDEC assumes full responsibility for the general contracting of all three parts, as well as overseeing all coordination efforts associated with the Project, At present, the Project has been successfully completed.

II.6 MW IBULAO Hydro Electric Power Plant Project

The 6MW IBULAO HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER PLANT proiect is located within the boundary of line of two Municipalities, the Municipality of Lagawe and Municipality of Kiangan in lfugao.

The municipality of Lagawe is located at the heart of Ifugao province and is said to be the provincial capital. It is bounded in the east by the municipality of Diadi Nueva Viscaya; on the west by the municipality of Kiangan; on the north by the municipalities of Hingyon and Banawe and on the south by the municipality of Asipulo.The municipality of Kiangan is locate at the southwest direction of Lagawe also known as the Provincial Capital of Ifugao for about ten kilometers away.It is bounded on the east by the municipalities of Lagawe and Lamut; on the west by the municipality of Tinoc; on the north by the municipality of Hingyon and on the south by the municipality of Asipulo.The development of the project is contributing factors to the stability of the power supply in the Luzon grid and most particularly to the host municipalities, Lagawe and Kiangan. This project comprises the following components; Weir, Intake Structure, Penstock Powerhouse with ElectroMechanical Equipment, Tailrace, Switchyard and Transmission Line
